TOYOTA MATERIAL HANDLING AUSTRALIA ANNOUNCES VARIETY - THE CHILDREN’S CHARITY NSW/ACT PARTNERSHIP

Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) has today announced a new partnership with Variety - the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT to help raise awareness and funds for kids in need.

Since 1975, Variety has empowered children in Australia who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability to live without limits. Through grants, scholarships, programs and experiences, Variety helps children to thrive, belong and reach their full potential.

TMHA President Steve Takacs said that he was proud that TMHA was playing a leading role in helping to raise awareness and vital funds for the children who need it most and also partnering with Variety to help provide support where sometimes government assistance was not available.

“TMHA is Australia’s leading forklift company, and we are privileged to have a large reach into the transport and logistics sector”

“Partnering with Variety - the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT gives us an opportunity to leverage the trust we have built in the sector to play a leading role in raising awareness and funds to help support children who are sick and experiencing disadvantage.

“We’ll be working to raise funds to support Variety, as well as participating in iconic Variety fundraising events such as the Variety B to B Bash, where as a company we have previously raised over $300,000 since first participating in the Bash two years ago”.

Variety NSW/ACT CEO, Tony Warner, said he was delighted to officially welcome TMHA on board as a valued corporate partner.

“We are excited to have TMHA come on board in an official capacity. We have been deeply grateful for their tremendous generosity over the last two years, and we are looking forward to taking this partnership to the next level.”

“Last year, Variety supported more than 45,000 children across NSW and the ACT. I know that working together with TMHA, we can reach even more children and make a genuine difference in the lives of families who are doing it tough, especially in the current cost-of-living crisis.”

“On behalf of all the kids and families we walk beside every day, we thank TMHA for their compassion and commitment to creating stronger, more inclusive communities and a better quality of life for all children.”

“Over the coming months TMHA will launch major fundraising initiatives to help support Variety and has already confirmed its commitment to participate in the 2026 B to B Bash.
