One of Sydney’s leading mobile hydraulic hose services is enjoying the flexibility and
versatility of its latest Hino 300 Series light-duty truck.
Family-owned and operated for 15 years,
City Hydraulics is a Ryco 24•7 distributor
and specialises in on-site hydraulic hose
fabrication, diagnostics and maintenance.
City Hydraulics recently added a Hino 300
Series 616 to its fleet - its sixth Hino truck
since purchasing its first in 2004.
City Hydraulics owner and operator Grant
Wheatley praised the company’s new Hino
300 Series 616 as a versatile metropolitan
workhorse.
“The Hino trucks have been exceptional in
helping us get our workshop out to wherever
our customers happen to be,” Mr Wheatley
said.
“The compact size and agile handling gives
us great accessibility to inner-city customers,
while still retaining the robust operation that is
expected of a truck.”
Originally operating with Toyota HiAce vans,
the company quickly outgrew the limited
capacity of a van.
The newly delivered Hino 300 Series features
a custom Pantech mobile workshop built by
Pacific Bodyworks, including an industry-
leading two-inch Swage press tool that allows
larger hydraulics units to be fabricated on
site.
“The majority of our customer base are in
the construction and forklift industries, but
recently we were contracted by the Royal
Australian Navy to carry out hydraulic
servicing to a ship.
“The flexibility that the mobile workshop
allows is a crucial and unique characteristic of
our business,” Mr Wheatley said.
City Hydraulics has outlets in Mascot
and Wetherill Park, both providing a full
suite of industrial supplies for all hydraulic
applications and a quick response service
available 24 hours, seven days a week.
